Key Objectives: Plan, design, and monitor social media content for both organizations to boost ticket sales and donations for the Taste of the NFL 2022 culinary event to fundraise and provide school meals to food-insecure students.
Significant Outcomes:
•Boosted ticket sales that sold out all tickets and generated $1.5 million in donations
•Provided 93 million school meals to food-insecure students.
•Celebrity chefs, singers, and athletes attended.

What is the Taste of the NFL Event?
Annual charity event partnered with the Super Bowl
The Taste of the NFL is an annual Super Bowl culinary event that is partnered with GENYOUth and sponsored with various well known food companies such as Frito Lays. It brings together famous chefs from each NFL city to serve dishes representing their local cuisine. The event raises funds for hunger relief organizations across the United States.

My everyday tasks involved designing content through Canva and Photoshop and drafting copy. Content was often posted on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to engage the audience of Taste of the NFL and GENYOUth about the culinary event.
When designing the content, I was inspired by the colors of the NFL logo as well as football face paint which I often used on the designs as visual elements. Each design was consistent in representing the organizations. I was also responsible for drafting fun copy and using popular hashtags such as "#HappyNewYear! As we approach the endzone of 2021" for the New Year's post.

Each year, as Taste of the NFL hosts its culinary event at the Super Bowl, esteemed chefs receive invitations to take part and prepare delectable cuisines. The 2022 edition showcased notable culinary figures like Tim Love, Carla Hall, Andrew Zimmern, Lasheeda Perry, and Mark Bucher. Joining them were NFL players, sports legends, and unexpected celebrity guests. To bolster ticket sales, it becomes crucial to introduce these chefs via social media and divulge their recipes, featuring some of their renowned dishes. A few summers ago, I went to Texas and really wanted to try one of Tim Love's restaurants... but any who... Let's meet Lasheeda Perry and savor her Cracker Jack Blondies!

In addition to creating content to promote Taste of the NFL's yearly event, I also took charge of designing certain pieces of content for GENYOUth. GENYOUth's content revolves around the colors of green and purple as they focus on the creation of healthy school communities. When the annual culinary event approaches, GENYOUth also engages in promoting the event.
Taste of the NFL Event and Reflection
Taken place in Los Angeles
Given that Los Angeles is my favorite place in the entire world, I was saddened that I couldn't attend the event due to school. Nonetheless, the event boasted a remarkable turnout of not only NFL players and celebrity chefs but also various other celebrities such as singer Rita Ora, actor Danny Pino (known for Law & Order SUV), boxer Oscar De La Hoya, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, Rashad Jennings, Miss America, and even NFL Alumni cheerleaders.
I am extremely happy and honored to realize that a multitude of people, including these celebrities, had the chance to see my designs promoting the event on social media. It was also exhilarating to spot some of the celebrities at the event whom I had previously encountered on an influencer list, which I had to research extensively as they needed approval before being invited.
