The central idea of my concentration is to explore and showcase the different produce from my mother’s garden through still life. Moving to the suburbs from the city in 2012, I wanted to share the beauty of my mother’s hard work and the passion she has for gardening so people can appreciate the art of nature. The work in my concentration demonstrates the exploration of my idea through the use of colored pencils. These pieces emphasize the theme as the pieces show the environment that revolves around my mother’s garden.
